Show you like him

Sneaky Ways to Show Him You're Interested
None of them are lame...SWEAR

You have a crush on a guy in Spanish class (!Tu eres muy caliente!). You're dying to make a move, but you don't know how he'll react. He could laugh in your face. Or, start avoiding you like you're yesterday's cafeteria lunch. If only you could let this cutie know you like him without looking like a total fool.

the web of mystery
IMs can start out so innocently, but quickly evolve into fierce flirtations.
what to do: When you see your cutie log on, grab his attention by tossing out a question about homework. Be sure to make it an open-ended one like, "How do you think you did on that science test?" If he seems like he's up for chatting, respond with a flirty line like, "I wanna go to the party on Friday, but my parents have plans, so I'm not sure how I'd get there." But if he replies, "I dunno," and nothing else, then he may not be interested. Or, maybe he has a case of writer's block, so try tossing out one more question just to be sure. No response? Next! There are plenty more cute boys out there.
(But first of all, make sure that you serious , i mean, intend to him. I'm not talking about short-term relationship in my blog. I just put something to force you a serious relationship to marriage. ^^Hope this work well for you^^ )

why this works:
Your crush can't see you, so you never have to worry if your blush-prone face turns the color of a candied apple. You also don't have to stress about coming up with something witty on the spot-IM etiquette allows you at least a few minutes to think of a clever comeback. If he doesn't play along after a couple of tries, pound out a quick buh-bye and get outta there.

the look of love

Hey, they don't call them "the windows to the soul" for nothing. Your eyes are the best way to send out a silent-but strong-message. When you let a glance linger a few seconds longer, the message is, "I see you. I like you. Let me rock your world."
Warning: Not all eye contact is -created equal. The signal you're sending him has to be just right.

what to do: First, your glance should start at his brow, move down to his cheekbones and, finally, let your look land around his chin. Every few seconds, meet his eyes again (you might even toss in a smile), then continue scanning his face. This needs to be quick and smooth, and only last about seven or eight seconds. Don't stare because that can seem a little, uh, psycho. He'll notice that you've checked him out, but he won't feel stared down.
why this works: Because you won't have to utter a single word, this approach is ideal for even the shyest girl. If your dude sends back vibes that he's not at all interested (like looking away or seeming bored), it's no big deal. Hey, you never actually said that you liked him, right?

Get the Right Man - 4

# Women could probably take a couple of pages from this generalization of the behavior of many men.

First, it is important to have a fun period of life so that they feel personally fulfilled and don't resent others in the future, particularly their husband or children.

Next, it is also important to have fun dating, and when pursuing serious relationships ejecting men who are unsuitable early so they can meet more suitable candidates. Being overly picky is not ideal, but women should not tolerate disrespect. The first month or so of dating will be filled with chemistry, but it is important for women to also take the time to "screen" men, in the same way that men screen women, to make sure their date is someone they truly want to allow themselves to get emotionally involved in.

# Many men are perfectly willing to date a woman and be sexually intimate with her without any plans of marrying her. In fact, many men date women for years that they have no intention of marrying. It is therefore important to make sure that women are clear that sex does not necessarily mean as much to many men as it does to many women, and can subject women to a lot more emotional vulnerability than men. This does not indicate that men are not emotionally involved in sex, and men often do feel hurt when a woman accuses them of "using" her. Still, it is important not to read into the meaning of sexual activity. This is something that can be seen on a hormonal level, as oxytocin (a hormone which causes the connection sensation) is released during and after sex, but is blunted in men by the release of testosterone.
Please, do sex after marriage only. You will feel very great than others who do sex before marriage.

# Every stage of the relationship should be reciprocated. In the early stages of flirting, if a man is not returning advances, it is wise for a woman to move on to one of the other 3 Billion men available on the planet.
There are plenty of good guys around, it just takes a little time and a lot of first dates to find them. Men are very careful to make sure they know a woman before they commit to her. While some very shy men appreciate when a woman lets a man know she's interested, men are often frightened off by women who make very strong advances, especially of a sexual nature.
This is because a man who does not feel that he knows a woman very well will presume that very interested women must not be basing their desire for him on any part of his own personality. He will therefore perceive advances as indications that she is desperate for any man, instead of interested specifically in him. When a man has not considered the idea of a longer commitment with a woman, talking about marriage before dating at least a year (unless he brings it up first), referring to children, weddings, or any other type of strong commitment set of warning signals in a man's mind. In general, a man who is very interested in a woman will make no mystery of it, will pursue her relentlessly, and suggest marriage first.

# In sum,
men are very selective. When they are dating for fun, they are not as selective. However, when they reach the point where they are interested in marriage, they are slow and careful to get to know women.
If a woman is anxious to commit before a man has considered the idea, he may believe her to be "desperate" and therefore avoid her.
However, when a man meets a mature, "lady-like" (as he defines it), fun, interesting, fulfilled woman who is not desperate, he is more likely to see her interest as genuine, and may make himself ready for marriage sooner so that he won't lose her.

# Attracting a man can be extremely frustrating - if you are unsure about what to do. However, with confidence and a little bit of experience behind you, finding a man can be a snap!

# The first tip of dating is to imagine the type of man you're looking for. Figure it out and write it all down. The top of the list should have "respectful!" Typically, "responsible, respectful, honest" are keys, and the list shouldn't go much beyond that. You should have these same traits when dealing with men. If you find your list goes on and on, you might have some soul-searching to do.

# Once you have figured out this man, imagine where that type of person would be. Would he be hanging out at a bar? Or, more likely, would you find him golfing, hiking, getting an education, or pursuing some other similar activity?
Make a list of 10 places that you would want your future husband to frequent. From art galleries to bookstores, anything goes as long as you are legitimately personally interested in what happens there and would choose to go there on your own. Now make a point of going to those places whenever possible - as long as you continue your own, fulfilling personal life. You've probably already found that you are meeting more men just by pursuing your passions!

# You should dress in whatever way makes you feel comfortable and confident.
However, especially if you are looking for a husband, never feel that you should have to dress in a sexually provocative way to attract a man. All men are a little different, of course - but if you want to dress like a lady, don't feel you need to dress more sexual than that - you will attract men who are looking for a lady.
In general, women dressed in a way that is either too sexual or too prudish have a harder time finding men to commit. In either case, women appear to men as if they're not being themselves.

A woman who dresses in an overly sexy way looks like she's trying too hard to get attention;

a woman who is dressed in an overly conservative way looks like she's suppressing her natural self.

Make a point of confidently expressing who you are, instead of seeking approval or validation through your clothing.

# The best flirting skills are physical ones. This doesn't mean you should be overtly sexual. When you see a man who interests you, make eye contact and smile. The classic look you'll see is this: a woman makes eye contact; she notices the man watching her, blushes, and looks down; then she bravely draws her eyes back up and smiles again.

That description may be a bit too demure or feminine for your style, but adaptations on it hit a chord for men. However, confidence is key, and subservience rarely is attractive to good men (unless that is your cultural norm).

Keep making eye contact and smiling, although don't be creepy. If he looks shy and isn't approaching you after awhile, give him a wink; but if he looks uncomfortable and avoids eye contact, pick a different target.

# Once he approaches you, lean back and relax. Now is his turn to talk to you. But have fun. Joke with him. Gently tease him a little, nicely (not sexually). Tell him one thing exciting in your life, but focus on asking him about his life and commenting on it positively. If you're still attracted and he makes you laugh, touch his arm.

Don't look at your hand, but notice how he reacts. Continue to touch him at intervals. If he starts to look uncomfortable, back off with both your body language and energy level. Your smile is the key, however - men love to make women they love smile. He should initiate from there.

# Remember that although forcing yourself to be more masculine works for business, it is not necessarily a good thing when dating. If you are naturally masculine, that is fine - just don't suppress your natural femininity artificially.

# Many men love the process of pursuing a woman. This doesn't mean you should play games with him. It does, however, mean that often men like to initiate a kiss, initiate sex, say "I love you" first, ask a woman on a date, ask her to be his girlfriend and ask her to be his wife. However, there are obviously some cases where men are shy and therefore don't like to make the first move.
This can happen at times when you either haven't given them enough encouragement or they're simply shy. During the first meeting, after you've made a connection and closer to when you both have to leave, mentioning a restaurant you've been itching to go to, some hobbies you like, or the fact that your activities for that weekend have fallen through may help to bring the process along.

# Remember, during dating, that while it is fun to get carried away with your emotions, it is also fun to just sit back and enjoy the moment without expectations. Especially on the first date, sit back, relax, and keep an open mind. Don't worry about a label at first; just date and enjoy each other. Take a deep breath and just laugh. A great part of the fun is the innocent, initial stages of getting to know each other and wondering how the other person feels. Don't rush things. If things work out, he'll be calling you his girlfriend before you know it.

# Between the sheets! Is there a correct time or way? Some people would suggest waiting until marriage. Others think the first night is fine. There are plenty of examples of both methods both working and failing miserably. As with all things, a little moderation mixed with your own sense of self and confidence in yourself and your intuition is key.

# Your behavior should follow whatever you feel comfortable with. Men often can sense when a woman is acting in a way that is just to please him, including getting involved in sexual activity before you feel comfortable doing so.

In the mind of men, there are two types of women: women they date and/or have sex with, and women they marry.

It is, of course, not fair - but it is how men are hard-wired. Women are often the same - dating rebels and "cool guys" but settling down with the "nicer" guys. While this may not effect the way you date for fun, it may effect how you date for marriage. When a man meets a woman at a bar, does not know her well, sees her in very suggestive clothing, and sleeps with her the same night, even while he may argue that he respects her for being sexually liberated, it is very difficult for him to know whether this is her usual pattern of behavior or not. While men enjoy the sex, men are as emotionally fragile as women and are afraid of getting hurt by being cheated on. While men appreciate a woman who has some experience in bed and has enthusiasm for sex, they are also looking for a loyal partner. Even if the logic does not make sense, just like many women, men can be scared when they suspect a woman has had many partners because they are afraid that if they do not perform well in bed, the woman will leave them or cheat on them. How should this effect your behavior? It does not necessarily imply that you should wait just to satisfy his insecurities - but it does imply that just because you know he wants to have sex or he is pressuring you for sex, it does not mean you should have sex if you are not ready. Please do not have sex before marrieage. It is more better. You will find true meaning of love. And sex after marriage will make both of you more in love.

Get a Good Man

How to Get a Good Man It is not easy for women to find a good man, and to be honest it is not easy for a man to find a good woman.

This is written from a man's perspective to help frustrated women that are sincerely looking for a good man but keep finding losers.

Steps

1. Be yourself.

When you meet someone for the first time, you may be tempted to be someone you're not, such as "putting on your best face".
There's nothing wrong with wanting to make a good impression.
However, it is possible to take this too far and in turn repel men.
The same applies with myths about dressing sexy and excessive flirtation.
If you do not respect your body, you will only attract men who have a similar lack of respect for you and your body, and a good man will find it more difficult to take you seriously. Be yourself, and a real man will respect you.
2. Have a life.
Desperate, dramatic, and clingy relationships are often rooted in a feeling of need and desperation for a man to fill your life. Even if you have low self-esteem, but work over time to build it.
Pursue your goals, explore your passions, have an interesting life, do things that take you outside your boundaries. Don't put up a tough exterior to get over shyness; gradually learn to build trust with a network of people, so that your boyfriend isn't the only person you open up to and share your life with.

3. Be relaxed and cool.
Most guys hate it when girls are possessive, bitchy, clingy, controlling, etc. Learn to relax, and have fun. We all have too much going on in our lives; don't be the high maintenance "drama queen".
Having a woman around who makes life more difficult than enjoyable will make a man lose interest. If you do things like show genuine concern when the man has had a rough day, it will earn his respect and go toward winning him over and a good man will reciprocate.
Remember that most men, especially the good ones, are looking for someone with whom they can be comfortable, and not someone who is always intense.

4. Realize differences in communication.
Men can often miss the subtle messages that women send in their body language. Don't judge a guy because of this, it's just the way men are.
Subtle body language like smiles only make a man think that you might like him; he can't assume it means you're interested without being accused of being a self-absorbed jerk.
To drive the point home, gradually introduce more "obvious" body language like playful touches on the arm, playful banter and teasing, winks, inside jokes, playfulness, or (when you know him better) attempts to find a man's ticklish spots.
(Don't be afraid to kindly tease him over minor things - women who pretend a man is perfect are regarded as weak in their eyes.)
Flirting will not only show him you like him enough to get that physical and playful, but also help to break the physical barrier and allow a man to feel more comfortable making a few advances to you. But don't forget to look at how he is reacting to you.

5. Take a good look at yourself.
Psychological studies have shown that people seek out partners to fill a psychological void. Sometimes these voids are unhealthy, for example a woman who is unhealthy will actually seek out any man for the "high of seduction" or to get attention and feel desirable.
Look inside yourself and ask yourself why you want a man so bad, be truly honest with yourself, and if need be talk to a therapist about this.
A woman with issues only attracts a guy with issues as well, and a good, real man doesn't want anything to do with a woman who has more issues than TIME magazine.
If you want a good, healthy relationship with a real man, make certain that your own mental state and intentions are healthy.

6. Drop the games.
Nobody likes a partner who plays "head games". This is deceptive, and will hurt anybody who trusts you. Be real, don't play games, and good men will respect you and may even pursue you. Playing head games will only make good men run away. Remember the communication thing? That is especially true here.
If you like a guy, don't push him away and act like you don't like him. Tell him.
Yes, there are some men who do like the thrill of the chase, but all good men genuinely want to respect you and your wishes, and will leave you alone if you insist on it. Remember, men communicate directly, if you act like you don't want him, he'll think you don't want him.

7. Treat him with respect.
This is the most important thing of all. Men hate being around a woman who emasculates them, and a good man won't take long to leave such a woman.
Don't be afraid to help your man feel good about himself. A little known secret is that men are just as insecure as women. If he's with his friends or family be open to opportunities to let your man look like "the man". It will win his love and respect.

8. Don't be afraid to make a move.

Let's be real, a good man doesn't desperately need any woman, he would like to meet a good woman. If he's a good man, he will appreciate the compliment to his attractiveness, at the very least.
But remember that compliments are usually given to acquaintances - people who are intimate usually have a more honest connection, with playful teasing and banter.
Think of good relationships between brothers and sisters, parents and children, especially couples - they're always joking, laughing, teasing, flirting in a positive way. A woman who is always complimenting may simply be boring and look desperate.
Even if you are old-fashioned and never want to be the woman who asks a man for a date, you can still go out of your way to talk to him, and arrange to be with him.
Don't over do this, however; unless he is already attracted to you before the encounter, the more obvious it is that you've put a ton of time into the encounter without his direct encouragement, the more desperate and less attractive you look. Work on building attraction first.

9. Respect yourself.
If you say no, he should stop. If he doesn't stop, leave. Don't ever be uncomfortable saying no. Don't go against your morals to try to keep a guy. If you feel this is necessary, then either he's not a good man, or he is a good one but simply isn't a good match for you specifically (e. g. he is currently "playing the field" and is up front and honest about it, but you're looking for an exclusive relationship).
Don't be uncomfortable saying yes, either. If you feel the time is right, believe in your worth and don't worry that you're "giving yourself away."
You respect yourself and you're confident that he'll come back for more! A man who doesn't respect you in the morning never properly respected you to begin with, and a man who doesn't respect your wishes to wait is too impatient to make a good partner. Either way, find someone else.

10. Follow the Golden Rule.
That means apply the same rules to yourself that you'd apply to others, including him. Real men do in fact notice this, they just don't scream it out.
For example, if you do want to try finding his ticklish spots, then don't complain one bit if he tries finding yours in return. Don't go on about how you "don't NEED no man!" or about "men this, men that" if you don't want him treating you the same way.
DO, on the other hand, treat him--and others--with respect, dignity, and honor. Others will notice, too, and who knows--if they know you want a good, real man but don't yet have one, they just might introduce you to one!

11. Don't Be Clingy.
This means don't show that you love this person by being near them all the time they need space and they need to know that you don't want to follow them everywhere you go and they need to know that you have your own life.

Tips

* A good way to meet someone is through other people, or activities you enjoy. Some advice about being genuine: Don't take up hobbies or habits just to meet someone. If you meet him in a bar, he's liable to be a drinker. If you meet him in a house of worship, he's likely to be religious. First impressions are important, so if his first impression of you is "party girl", it will be difficult to change. The same thing goes for if his first impression of you is "uptight girl" or "mind-game girl".

* Practice the Golden Rule. If you want him to do something, you should be equally willing to do it yourself. You want him to ask you out or take you out or do whatever else for you? You should be equally willing, and don't wait for or expect him to do it first. Good men respect a woman who applies the same rules to herself that she would apply to a man.

Warnings

* Always give a man his space when he needs it - never come between a man and his friends, asking him to choose - he will ultimately resent you for it, even if he initially chooses you.

* Remember - interesting men look for interesting women. Make sure your life is about more than just him.

Is it Love, Infatuation, or Lust ??

While there's no clear, fool-proof way to decipher your feelings for someone, there are certain ways to make the distinction between love, lust and infatuation clearer for yourself.

Steps

  1. Could it be love?
    Could it be love?
Write down everything that you associate with the person you're feeling strongly about. Example words on your brainstorm list could include love, butterflies, sex, holding hands, annoying snoring, gorgeous, etc.
  2. Circle each attribute with a different color such as red for lust, yellow for infatuation, and green for love.
  3. See which of the three feelings dominates the page. If one doesn't stand out (like if the distribution seems pretty equal), move on to the following steps for more insight.
  4. Or is it lust?
Read literature on the topic. Questions aboutare timeless questions that have consumed mankind throughout the ages and are a major theme in many scriptures, tales from mythology, and literature. Read the story of David and Bathsheba from the Old Testament, 1st Corinthians from the New Testament, the story of Ali and Fatima, Echo and Narcissus, or Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
  5. Ask your friends or, if you find it easier, ask a complete and utter stranger, so that you get an honest opinion and an outsider's point of view. Tell that person how you feel, and ask them if it sounds primarily like love, infatuation, or lust.
  6. Watch a movie that relates to your situation like "Cruel Intentions" (which is about lust, and wanting what you can't have), "Down to You" (which is about love and leaving it all down to the other person), "How to lose guys in 10 days" (which is about none of them really but it's about making a mistake and putting it right), "The Notebook," which tells a tale of life-long love and commitment, "The Phantom of the Opera" (which is about both lust and infatuation) and definitely, "Titanic" (which is about holding on to someone forever until you die - that is love - bittersweet love), also, perhaps, "The Fly" (which is about a woman who falls in love with a man who turns into a fly and then goes insane, and yet remains deeply emotionally attached through this agonizing life change - which is love) or High Fidelity (which is about learning what love really is). Yet understand, that movies are fiction that depict idealized rather than realistic love.

Tips

  • Keep in mind that in most relationships, you're feeling all three (love, infatuation, and lust) all at once, to some degree.
  • To help you make tough decisions about your relationship, ask someone you trust who has lots of experience with the kind of relationship you want for yourself. For example: Say you want to be happily married to one person for life. If your parents have both been bitterly divorced three times, then they are probably not the ones to talk to. On the other hand, if they are about to celebrate their 50th anniversary of bliss together, then they may be ideal to learn from.
  • Lasting relationships are those that are built on love
    - not infatuation or lust. Imagine the person you love in 50 years when they are old and fat. Would that change how you feel about them? If yes, then what you feel now is most likely lust/infatuation - not love.
  • Friendship should also weigh into your decision to commit. In 50 years, if you don't genuinely LIKE your mate, you're going to be miserable.
  • Remember that jealousy is not a result of love. It is more likely to be a result of infatuation, insecurity or fear of being alone. Are you in love with being in relationships?
  • A major life-changing decision like moving in together, getting engaged or getting married should be a natural step if you love someone. It should not inspire fear.
  • Take advantage of the post coital "moment of clarity" to examine your feelings. This is not usually the moment directly after orgasm (where most people are happy with the universe), but 5 or 10 minutes later, when your breathing and heart rate are normal. At this point, does the sex still make you feel closer to that person? Or are you beginning to feel regret and anxiety about what happened? If the latter, then it's most definitely not love but lust.
  • Give it some time. Love takes root slowly and grows with time. Infatuation grows into full bloom almost immediately.
  • Keep in mind that "True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be and will not be."
  • What comes to mind when you think about this person. If you are not dating the person, think if you are eager to spend time with them or you just want to watch them from a distance. If you are in a relationship with the person, What do you want most out of the relationship. If you just want to consummate love to the person it is usually lust. True love is when you could love a person without ever "dropping your drawers" so to speak.

Warnings

  • If you're not sure about your feelings or your relationship, take things slowly. Spend time apart and see how you are feeling while you are away. Do you miss the person? Or are you more attracted to others when you are apart?
  • You may also want to consider the fact that it's not always as easy as being one of these three things; often there are a lot of grey areas, the distinctions are blurred, and it is very possible to feel two or even all of these feelings for a person.
So guys, in all things, keep praying. Because He knows the best for us.

How is your look

What's in a Look?
The Ins and Outs of Flirting
Many people have truly no idea what flirting is, much less how to do it effectively.

Truth is, though, in today's busy and crowded world, you often only get a very short time to make an impression on someone- often from a distance- and flirting may be the only chance you get.
Whether it's in a crowded classroom, restaurant, mall, or other gathering place, you constantly have an opportunity to meet new people through subltle flirting.

For the girl, flirting can send a message to the guy from a distance that you're interested, or at least you want to get to know him a little better.

For the guy, flirting with a girl gives you a chance to see her reaction to you. A positive reaction would likely give you the signal to introduce yourself.

Flirting, accomplished effectively, sends the signal that you are a friendly, nice, and fun person, and you may be interested in the other person.
These days, however, it is important to flirt strategically and politely. A persistent, unwelcome flirt can be not only irritating, but downright scary, in the wrong situation. The key here is drawing the line between looking/glancing versus staring/leering.
Accompanied with the look, is the smile. A natural, friendly smile will always do better than the forced, fake one. In fact, the forced smile is often referred to as a 'psycho' smile. No one likes to be looked at like the other person is going to paint a 20 foot mural of you in their basement.
Ok, here's specifics.
For either a guy or a girl, a 2-3 second look, with a friendly smile, is usually enough to show interest. Try practicing with a friend, or in the mirror, and you will find three seconds is much longer than two people normally look into each other's eyes, unless they know each other well.
Just as important as the duration of the look, however, is what you do right afterward. You want to give a confident, but not overconfident appearance. Avoid looking at the ceiling (showing arrogance or lack of interest).

For girls, looking down right after the glance can send a positive and flirtatious message. For guys, looking back a few seconds later with a smile can go a long way.
If you can, glance her way then return to your conversation or smile. You're sending the message that you are a happy and fun, and not desperate. Body language during the 'look' can be equally inportant. You want to look relaxed and confident, yet not like you're full of yourself.

Guys, don't flex your muscles intentionally, unless you're in the gym.

For the girls, fixing your makeup, hair, or other personal appearance detail may just send the message that you're 'high maintenance.' If you want to make sure you look good, check in a mirror before you begin 'the glancing game,'
Remember, if you're not talking to this person face-to-face yet, all they have to go on their impression of you is what they see.

Attract person you like

Want to quintuple your odds of winning in the dating game?
We surveyed a variety of top experts and learned five unbelievably effective secrets to make the opposite sex come running.
Here's how you can use them to work for you:

1. BE THE CENTER OF ATTENTION

Want to be the one who gets noticed? Stand in the center of the room. According to Dr. Albert Mehrabian, the author of several books and nationally-known expert in the field of spacial psychology, where you are in a room (and what you're doing) has a lot to do with your ability to attract the opposite sex.
Where should you be for the highest impact and the greatest number of interested cuties? Smack-dab in the center of the room, standing up and moving around a bit. (But don't pace a track on the carpet for goodness sake...) If you're in a bar or nightclub, the best place to be is at one of the corners on the bar. Not only will you meet more people, but, according to Mehrabian, bartenters tend to gravitate toward the corners as well. Interesting conversation AND a full drink? You'll feel like you've died and gone to dating heaven. The worst place to be seen? Hanging out near the wall or sitting at a table. That hot stranger approaching your table and asking "may I join you" only happens in the movies.

2. THE COLOR LURE
What color can you wear to compel the opposite sex to approach you? According to Color Consultant Leatrice Eiseman, Director of the Pantone Color Institute and author of Colors For Your Every Mood, women are attracted to men wearing the color blue. And why wouldn't we be? According to Eiseman, guys who frequently wear blue are "stable, faithful, constant and always there." The blue guy is a fantastic candidate for a long-term relationship -- someone who's dependable, momogomous and can match his own clothes. And what about the ladies? Eiseman says women should wear a pink- peach to make themselves most approachable. The color is "very flattering to most skin tones, it gives you healthy glow," and according to Eiseman, projects "a little vulnerability which brings out something protective in men." Want to wear a color that weeds out guys who can't handle strong women? Try a deep red, burgundy or plum. Men who aren't attracted to strong women will steer clear. Of all the colors, red is the most sensual. But, wear red with caution. "Red is the color of sex and power," says Eiseman. Red adds an element of excitement and attracts two types of men - men interested in sex, and men attracted to powerful women. Sure, you'll probably have to fend off a lot of freaks, but you could also end up attracting a guy that isn't threatened by the fact that you make a bigger salary. Concerned your wardrobe is driving people away? Stay away from what Eiseman calls "squished caterpillar yellow-green" which is said to repel both sexes equally.

3. BODY TALK THAT REELS 'EM IN
How do you use body language to attract the opposite sex? If you're a woman, the key is to make yourself approachable. According to nationally-respected body language expert and professional speaker, Patti Wood, you want to make yourself a "safe" (read approachable) target. How do you accomplish that? Don't take up a lot of space (which is a sign of power and superiority.) Wood says, "we are strong women, but remember, we're trying to get a man to come over and talk to us." She explains, "you have to show you have room for someone else in your life." In addition, Wood says "to be very approachable women should stand with their feet no farther than 6 inches apart with toes pointed slightly inward. " Other key moves, the nod and the head tilt - signal you're listening to what the other person has to say. For men, appearing more dominant effectively draws the attraction of women. To attract women, stand with your feet 6-10 inches apart, and toes pointing outward. Feel free to take up some space. For men who are victims of the "nice guy" badge, or who appear to be too submissive to attract women, try taking your Y chromosome out for a spin. According to Mehrabian, men should "try wearing bulkier or more conservative hairstyles or clothing," hold your head up, and speed up your speech and gestures to be more assertive. Body language tips for both sexes: Don't fold your arms and don't chew on gum, ice or your fingernails. According to Wood, the chewing indicates anxiety or frustration, neither of which are very attractive emotions.

4. THE POWER OF A SMILE

Psychology and body language experts agree that one of the most important things you can do to make yourself more attractive (and approachable) is to smile. Not a great big plastic game-show smile, just your normal "I'm having a great time and I'm happy to be here" face will do the trick. According to Wood, "the smile is the international signal of friendliness."

5. TEMPTING WITH SCENT Studies show that men associate the scents of cinnamon and vanilla with love. To make the scents work for you, try baking some ready-made cinnamon rolls about an hour before your date arrives, or, wear a cinnamon-vanilla scented perfume (there's a fabulous vanilla perfume called "Dulce Vanilla icon" ). Aromatherapy experts have long-believed cinnamon to be an aphrodisiac. According to Laura Davimes, aromatherapy and herb expert , and owner of Herban Avenues, "certain aromatic plants exude oils similar to our own sexual secretions or pheromones. Wearing cinnamon/vanilla blends increases the presence of pheromone-like substances and dramatically increases attraction." The scent of a woman? Women, according to a recent study, are attracted to a black licorice scent. So, be sure to pick up licorice or Good 'n Plenty at the theater snack bar. And, if you're at a club and happen to spill a little Jaggermeister on your shirt, don't worry about the stain, just consider it your lucky night.

Signs that he likes you

GIRLS only!!!
How to tell if he likes you
(and if he's flirting with you in his special own guy-way). A lot depends on the type of guy and his individual personality.

Shy Guys

These are tough to crack sometimes...
  • He'll look at you, until you turn around, then boom, he's looking the other way.
  • You may 'feel' like he's watching you - but he's hard to catch at it
  • He may do something physical - like grab you in a play way, poke you, play with your hair...(Remember when you were really young and the guy you liked punched you or tackled you?)
  • He may be working really hard to pay attention to you, but doesn't quite know how...He may ask a friend of yours about you - he'll say it's just for "friend of mine" that wants to know about you.
  • He talks to everybody else - but when you're around he turns silent, or chokes up.
  • You seem to accidentally bump into him a lot of different places.
  • He may not say a word to you, but he shows up in the same line, at the same movie, etc.
  • He'll give you a little smile from across the room, but if you get near, he won't look up.
  • Basically - the BIG clue is that his behavior changes when you're around (compared to when he's around his buds or other girls).
  • DEAD Giveaway - when you talk to him he turns red. (Bingo - you can pack that puppy up and take him home...)
